Luxury sports cars may not be the most popular car type on the market; they don’t carry as much as a hatchback, they are expensive to maintain and run, they typically don’t do well for fuel costs, and they can be very expensive to buy. We can see why the likes of the SUV sell a lot, lot more each year.

However, while the price of some of the best new sports cars may be eye-wateringly high, and they can be finicky, if you are in the market for a luxury sports car, that doesn’t mean they aren’t worth every penny for the luscious interiors, track-ready performance features, and powerful engines. We found the 10 best new luxury sports cars that offer both a luxurious ride, high horsepower, and on-road prowess that are worth the money.

Models are listed in ascending order based on starting MSRP, from the lowest to the highest.

MSRP: $76,300 | Smooth Power & Modern Luxury

Mercedes-AMG

Boasting a starting price just north of $76,000, the 2026 Mercedes-AMG CLE 53 Coupe offers hand-crafted track-ready power and a sumptuous interior in equal measure. Under the hood is a 3.0-liter turbocharged mild-hybrid inline-six good for 443 horsepower at between 5,800 and 6,100 rpm, and 413 pound-feet of torque at between 2,200 and 5,000 rpm. This translates to 0–60 mph times of around 4.2 seconds and limited top speeds of 155 mph.

Power is sent through a nine-speed AMG SpeedShift automatic transmission to a standard-fit 4MATIC+ all-wheel-drive rig. That means you get a lot of smooth power on the road and when you want to take the posh sports coupe out on the track. The turbo-six, motivated by hybrid tech, is loud from the back; the wide and muscular stance makes the AMG CLE 53 look the part on any road, and it is designed to be thrown about.

The 4MATIC+ system is up there among the best in the business when it comes to managing a lot of power on a slippery surface, and in that regard, the CLE 53 truly shined.

The 2026 AMG CLE 53 Coupe doesn’t just impress underfoot and in-hand, but also for just being in; it is the height of German luxury. These things combined are what make the starting price so worth it. You get a 12.3-inch driver cluster, an 11.9-inch MBUX touchscreen, Nappa leather seats, and an AMG steering wheel.

On the sportier side of things in the cabin, the CLE 53 also ticks a lot of boxes. In typical AMG fashion, you can opt for AMG performance seats; the cockpit looks like a plush racing car; contrast stitching gives it an athletic edge, and carbon fiber trim is there to remind you that you can punch it as well as relax in it on a normal road.

2026 BMW M4 Competition

MSRP: $86,400 | Sharp Handling & High-Tech Interior

Combining muscular wheel arches, a massive kidney grille, deep air intakes, a wide stance, and sleek LED headlights, the 2026 BMW M4 Competition may be a controversial-looking model (ahem, the oversized kidney grille), but it is truly ready to perform. Plus, if you are buying a luxury sports car, you want to stand out from the pack.

Powering the new BMW M4 Competition is a 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged S58 inline-six that kicks out 503 horsepower and 479 pound-feet of torque. Matched to an eight-speed M Steptronic auto, and with available xDrive all-wheel drive, it can go from rest to 60 in as little as 3.4 seconds. That is quick, but if you are out on twisty roads, that feels a lot quicker than it sounds.

Both on the chassis and in the cabin, the 2026 M4 Competition is packed full of tech. On the performance side of things, you get Active M Differential, Adaptive M Suspension, and M Servotronic steering working to give you a razor-sharp feel for a luxury sports coupe that is admittedly relatively heavy, at 3,979 pounds.

Inside, the cockpit blends performance cues with high-end tech. A curved display integrates a 12.3-inch driver cluster and a 14.9-inch touchscreen running iDrive. Heated and ventilated M Sport seats, the Alcantara-wrapped steering wheel is comfortable to grip onto, and a customizable HUD gives you performance and everyday info in front of you.

MSRP: $101,700 | V8 Engine Power & Ultra-Refinement

Few luxury coupes turn heads quite like the 2026 Lexus LC 500. It boasts a long hood, dramatic spindle grille, and a sweeping fastback roofline that makes it a true design icon. There are a few, but the LC 500 is one of Lexus’ most beautiful cars. The starting price of just under $102,000 may sound like a lot, but this year’s LC 500 has been confirmed by Lexus as the final model year of Lexus’ flagship luxury sports coupe.

The above MSRP is for the coupe flavor; it will cost you $109,200 for the Lexus LC 500 Convertible, and there is a limited run of 350 convertible LC 500 Inspiration Series and 200 LC 500 Inspiration Series coupes, which will cost you $121,500 upwards. Just to own an end-of-an-era legend, we’d say that the high price is worth it.

What makes the 2026 Lexus LC 500 such a worthwhile luxury sports car, though, is the 5.0-liter 2UR-GSE naturally aspirated V8 mated to a 10-speed Direct-Shift automatic box. We don’t see many NA V8s left on the market today, and this one is special; it kicks out 471 horsepower and 398 pound-feet of torque, it redlines at 7,300 rpm, and while it doesn’t make the LC 500 the fastest luxury sports car on the market (0–60 mph in 4.4 seconds), it does provide a visceral feel and fantastic noise.

Plus, you get real Takumi craftsmanship blended with just enough modern tech to not be overwhelming. Alcántara and leather trim, a 12.3-inch touchscreen, wireless smartphone connectivity, and available adaptive cruise control make it feel all sporty and classy at the same time. While we can’t predict the future, we can estimate that the final model year of the LC 500 luxury sports coupe may become a future classic, thanks to its purist build and pinpoint detail.

The 2026 BMW 8 Series M coupe model, officially known as the BMW M850i, combines luxurious comfort with a beast of an engine that can shift this 4,478-pound coupe to 60 mph in as little as 3.6 seconds. At its heart is a 4.4-liter twin-turbocharged N63 V8 paired with a silky eight-speed automatic transmission and xDrive intelligent AWD.

The BMW 8 Series M850i coupe measures in at a healthy 191.2 inches by 74.9 inches wide, and while that may sound too large for a sports car, the M850i was designed as a seriously luxurious GT. Inside, you get 42.1 inches of front legroom, 29.5 inches of rear legroom, and 14.8 cubic feet of trunk space. So, at least you can carry a decent amount, and you and your front-seat passenger have room to stretch out.

The attention to detail inside is as plush as you’d expect from an expensive and athletic BMW coupe, and it comes kitted out with high-quality Merino leather, a 12.3-inch touchscreen running iDrive 7, a Bowers & Wilkins audio rig, carbon fiber trim, and a glass gear selector. Despite its size and opulence, the M850i can also be driven outside its duties as a comfortable grand tourer. It boasts a rear-biased all-wheel drive setup; you get standard Adaptive M Suspension with active roll stabilization, Integral Active Steering, and an M Sport Differential for über traction. It truly combines both grit and grace.

2025 Jaguar F-Type R75 Coupe

Jaguar

Designed as the pinnacle of the illustrious Jaguar F-Type, the 2025 Jaguar F-Type R75 Coupe is the most expensive flavor, but it is certainly worth the money for what you can do in it. Under the hood of this luxury sports car is a 5.0-liter supercharged AJ133 V8 good for 575 horsepower and 516 pound-feet of torque. The F-Type R75 only tips the scales at around 3,760 pounds, so you are getting 0.153-horsepower-per-pound. In simple terms, it is light and boasts a powerful engine, which means rest to 60 times of 3.5 seconds.

It is not just straight-line prowess that the new F-Type R75 is good for; it is also built for nimble handling. It is equipped with a deployable rear spoiler; an optional Carbon Ceramic Matrix (CCM) braking system shores up stopping power, and the rear-biased all-wheel drive system offers sticky traction and handling fun.

Each shift is met with a satisfying bark—beeeraap!—comically sounding like a vintage British fighter plane. Driving this car is a highly emotional event, accentuated by things moving around you during the process, like the retractable rear spoiler or the automatic HVAC air vents that are mechanically erected out of the top of the dashboard to cool down the cabin.

From the outside, it is classic Jaguar-inspired, with a seamless aerodynamic body, in-your-face mesh grille, and a long hood and short deck. Inside, it is ultra-plush and is kitted out with an ebony suede headlining, 12-way heated and cooled performance seats wrapped in Windsor leather, a Meridian sound system, an R-branded leather steering wheel, a 12.3-inch driver cluster, and a 10-inch Touch Pro infotainment.

Today, the F-Type is an overlooked sports car, but it really shouldn’t be. Especially because, except for on the used market and what stock Jaguar still has left, we can’t buy them as 2026 models. Last year was the last model year of the iconic British sports car, and while the price for the top-tier R75 is still north of $110,000, this could be a future classic in the making. So, you can have a lot of fun in style and comfort in one today, and very possibly own a collectible classic in the future.

In the luxury sports car world, there aren’t many nameplates that grab attention like the Porsche 911. Since 1964, the slant-nosed, muscular, and unmistakable Porsche 911 has been tearing up the roads, and this year, the 2026 Porsche 911 lineup is again providing full-blown German luxury meets track-worthy DNA.

Including special editions, there are 20 different grades of the new Porsche 911, with starting prices at a healthy $135,500 and topping out at $387,000. Excluding special editions, the Turbo line, and one intense model that we want to mention lower down the list, the 2026 Porsche 911 lineup includes:

  • 2026 Porsche 911 Carrera. MSRP: $135,500.
  • 2026 Porsche 911 Carrera T. MSRP: $148,000.
  • 2026 Porsche 911 Carrera S. MSRP: $156,200.
  • 2026 Porsche 911 Carrera 4S. MSRP: $164,500.

  • 2026 Porsche 911 Targa 4S. MSRP: $180,200.
  • 2026 Porsche 911 Targa 4 GTS. MSRP: $203,300.

Every new Porsche 911 is worth a fortune. Is it worth the money? Yes, it is, considering many believe the 911 to be the best sports car available. At the base level, you get a 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged flat-six that shifts out 388 horsepower and 331 pound-feet of torque, and 0–60 mph times of 3.7 seconds. The highest-grade 911 we have mentioned above (the 911 Targa 4 GTS) comes equipped with a 532-horsepower 3.6-liter flat-six mated to a T-Hybrid system, which gets you to 60 mph from standstill in just three seconds.

The high-revving mills are one thing, but this is really one of the epitomizing performance luxury sports cars on the market; you know that it is a 911 from sight and sound; it is an instant head-turner; it is fast from base level up; it has one of the most iconic badges in sports car history, and it can perform on the back roads and the track.

All models have the 911-esque slight rear-biased weight distribution for staunch starts. The base Carrera trim is the most basic, but you still get a balanced ride and Porsche Active Suspension; the Carrera T rides on a lighter-weight chassis, and the Carrera GTS gets rear-axle steering and lower suspension than the base trim. The Carrera 4S benefits from a highly-tuned suspension, Porsche Torque Vectoring, a wider body (72.9 inches), and large 408 mm six-piston front disc brakes. All 911 models are built to provide luxe and sporty comfort and a real treat underfoot.

MSRP: $153,000 | Italian Flair & Convertible Thrills

Sultry, immediately identifiable as an Italian luxury sports car, fast, and raucous-sounding, the reasons to buy a 2026 Maserati GranCabrio are clear. The sharp, pointed nose, cutting lines, flared wheel arches, low-profile tires, subtle trunk lip, raked windscreen, massive air intakes up front, and quad-exhaust tailpipes all read like a checklist of things to include when building a beautiful Italian luxury sports car.

There are four seats inside, all wrapped in soft-touch leather; there is carbon fiber trim all around the cabin; precise stitching on the seats adds a touch of class, and despite its athletic breeding, the tech side of things hasn’t been ignored. Tech features come in the shape of a dual-screen setup that includes an 8.8-inch screen and a 12.3-inch infotainment screen, a 360-degree camera, and an electric drop-top.

Outside the sumptuous design, what makes the new Maserati GranCabrio worth the $153,000 starting price is how it is put together for extreme on-road prowess. Under the hood sits a 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged Nettuno V6 that kicks out 482 horsepower and 442 pound-feet of torque at base level, and 542 horsepower if you opt for the Trofeo flavor.

Power is sent through an eight-speed ZF automatic transmission to all four wheels, and you can hit 60 mph in between 3.4 and 3.7 seconds. The GranCabrio also boasts a near-perfect front:rear weight distribution, double-wishbone front suspension, and a multi-link rear suspension make the handling crisp, and active ride height adjustments set you up for the ideal ground clearance depending on how you are driving.

MSRP: $199,500 | Elegant Design & Potent V8

Aston Martin has been creating luxury sports cars for decades, and while they may not be the most thought-of marque on the market, they still know what they are doing. This is very apparent with the 2026 Aston Martin Vantage. Boasting a starting price of just shy of $195,000, the new Aston Martin Vantage is a heavy dose of British class and on-road, raw performance power in one elegant body.

There are four trims of the new Aston Martin Vantage: the Coupe, the S Coupe, the Roadster, and the S Roadster. Prices top out at $214,500 S Roadster, but we think that the S Coupe ($199,500) is the model to go for; it has a firmer ride, thanks to the fixed roof, so slightly better back-road behavior.

2026 Aston Martin Vantage rear 3/4

The new Vantage S rides on stiff Bilstein DTX adaptive dampers; a distinct full-width rear spoiler keeps things stable at speed; ceramic brakes handle stopping power and offer fade-free braking; hood vents direct air for cooling purposes and reduce lift, and then there is the V8 under the hood.

V8s are a dying breed in the luxury sports car market, but Aston Martin has given us what we want in the shape of a 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged M177 V8 borrowed from AMG. This beast can spit out 671 horsepower at 6,000 rpm and 590 pound-feet of torque at between 3,000 and 6,000 rpm, giving you bite all the way through the torque band, and 0–60 mph times in as little as 3.3 seconds.

This year’s Mercedes-AMG GT 63 S E PERFORMANCE is the pinnacle of Mercedes-AMG’s lineup. It has all the illustrious cabin gear to keep you comfortable in the shape of AMG Performance seats, Nappa leather upholstery, and a Burmester 3D Sound System, while legroom is generous for something with such high-end sporty breeding.

The 2026 Mercedes-AMG GT 63 S E PERFORMANCE boasts 41.7 inches of front legroom; legroom measurements for the rear haven’t been released yet, but it has been reported that models with 2+2 seating have cramped rear seating, while the four-door coupe variant is slightly roomier. So you get a precise German cabin build, and a striking body build, but the real reason the new GT 63 S E PERFORMANCE is worth the money is because of its performance nous; it hasn’t earned its name for nothing.

Powering the new 63 S E PERFORMANCE is a hand-built 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 paired with a 201-horsepower permanently-excited electric motor at the rear and an F1-derived 6.1 kWh battery. Total output is to the insane tune of 831 horsepower and a mesmerizing 1,032 pound-feet of torque.

This translates to rest-to-60 times of 2.8 seconds and top speeds of 199 mph. You also get a rail-like ride thanks to AMG ACTIVE RIDE CONTROL, active rear axle steering, hydraulic anti-roll stabilization, and active engine mounts, which adjust to optimize performance and how you are driving. And just as a small point on why the new AMG GT 63 S E PERFORMANCE is worth its high price: it is currently the most powerful production AMG model on the market.

Porsche

The 2026 Porsche 911 GT3 may not be the most expensive Porsche model in 2026, but this luxury sports car ticks all the right boxes for performance, fun, track days, and on-road comfort. There are two options available for this year’s Porsche 911 GT3: the GT3 and the GT3 with Touring Package. Both models are equipped with a 4.0-liter naturally aspirated flat-six good for 510 horsepower, 332 pound-feet of torque, and an outrageous 9,000 rpm redline, making it one of the production cars with the highest redlines available.

Rest to 60 times are clocked at between 3.2 and 3.7 seconds, with Porsche saying that the Touring Package GT3 is the slower of the two flavors. Both are kitted out to be driven at speed, with both a seven-speed PDK and a six-speed manual available, aggressive lip spoilers and diffusers included, a double-wishbone front axle, and RS-derived dampers.

The most obvious difference between the 911 GT3 and the 911 GT3 with Touring Package is at the rear; the GT3 has a massive fixed rear wing, while the Touring Package model gets a deployable one. Inside, there are also a few differences; the GT3 is strictly a two-seater luxury sports car, while the GT3 with Touring Package is available with two rear seats for small passengers, and there is more leather upholstery and fittings in the Touring Package compared to the more track-ready-looking GT3.

The Porsche 911 lineup is one of the most reliable luxury sports cars for sale at the moment, so not only do you get the choice between a dedicated track demon and a dedicated comfortable GT with oodles of performance grit, but you also get a luxury sports car that should last you the miles if looked after.
