Smart is offering significant price cuts on 2024-build examples of the Smart #1and Smart #3 as it looks to clear stock ahead of the arrival of 2026 vehicles in local showrooms.

The price of the 2024 build Smart #1 Pro+ has been cut to $47,990 drive-away, including a $3500 ‘plate bonus’ and additional discounts. That compares with $54,900 before on-road costs for a newly ordered example.

The offer also extends to the Smart #3 Pro+ SUV, priced at $50,990 drive-away including a plate bonus, compared with its standard new-vehicle price of $57,900 before on-road costs.

Using the Smart online configurator, the saving totals up to $11,500 for either vehicle.

These offers are available only to customers in Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria, the only states that currently have Smart dealers.

The Smart brand, now a 50:50 joint venture between Mercedes-Benz and Geely, returned to Australia in 2024 after a decade-long hiatus.

The brand’s vehicles are imported by LSH Auto Australia, which says it retails more Mercedes-Benz vehicles locally each year than any other dealer group.

The Smart #1 and #3 are currently the only two models offered locally, with the Pro+ serving as the entry-level grade in both lineups, alongside the mid-spec Premium and Brabus performance variants.
