Thinking about a new Honda SUV? We have assembled a list of every Honda SUV model by size and price. Though Honda cars were once a staple for Honda, in recent decades, Honda SUVs have carved out their own lane and taken the dominant spot. Few brands offer the same quality and value as Honda, which is why Honda SUVs are among the best-selling vehicles available. Among Honda SUVs, the Honda HR-V is the smallest, while the Honda Pilot is the largest. Yet, that alone doesn’t tell the full story. Follow along as we dissect and rank every Honda SUV model by size.
2026 Honda HR-V
MSRP: $26,500
The 2026 Honda HR-V is the most affordable and smallest Honda SUV model available. This current-generation Honda HR-V is a big step up from its predecessor in terms of value and quality.
One of the common complaints of the previous-generation Honda HR-V was the interior, primarily the cramped rear seats. Ian Wright from our sister site CarBuzz had this to say about the updated interior during his review of the 2023 Honda HR-V.
With the new platform comes increased length and rear legroom – enough now for an average adult to not complain about. The seats are all new frames, and having spent a few days in cars and planes, they helped relax our back over the day’s test driving. Both Sport and EX-L derivatives feature front-seat heating, while features like dual-zone automatic climate control, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, and ambient LED lighting are reserved for the EX-L — CarBuzz

2026 Honda CR-V
MSRP: $30,920
The 2026 Honda CR-V is the bestselling Honda model, and for good reason. Though it has grown over the years, the Honda CR-V is the right-sized SUV for the American market, providing an ideal balance of utility and practicality.
On the inside, the Honda CR-V has never been more spacious or better equipped. CarBuzz’s Ian Wright reviewed the 2023 Honda CR-V Sport Touring and stated this about the CR-V’s interior:
Rear legroom that can happily accommodate a couple of tall adults is a highlight, but so is the comfort of the front seats and all-around visibility afforded by the new B-pillar placement and plenty of glass. The driver’s seating position has been refined and designed for comfort over long periods that we can now attest to. The new multi-functional center console storage is well-thought-out and useful, as is the rest of the interior — CarBuzz

2026 Honda Passport
MSRP: $44,950
With a big jump up in both size and price, we get to the 2026 Honda Passport. The Honda Passport is one of the most capable Honda SUVs available, built for outdoor adventure and overall spaciousness.
Whether or not you attack the trails on the weekend, the Honda Passport is all about its interior ergonomics with cool optional features like the 3-in-1 cargo shelf that turns into a table. TopSpeed’s Nicole Wakelin got a chance to drive the 2026 Honda Passport Trailsport, and this is what she had to say about the interior:
The rear seats are spacious, easily fitting two adults with 40.9 inches of legroom. Three adults are fine for shorter trips, though two are ideal if it’s an extended adventure. Unfortunately, the rear seats don’t recline, which is a drawback on road trips. The TrailSport trims also get a panoramic moonroof, which lets in plenty of light at the expense of a little headroom compared to the RTL trims… A standout feature is the available picnic table that stows in the cargo area floor. It’s reminiscent of the classic Honda CR-V’s pull-out table, but this one is far sturdier, creating a convenient surface for camping or tailgating — Nicole Wakelin, TopSpeed

Honda Vs Hyundai: 5 Key Differences Every Buyer Should Know
Here are the five most important distinctions every shopper should know before choosing between Honda and Hyundai.
2026 Honda Prologue
MSRP: $47,400
Honda’s only all-electric SUV is the 2026 Honda Prologue. The Honda Prologue is just slightly longer than the Honda Passport, though they share similar exterior dimensions.
The two differ more in interior space, where the Passport easily wins in every category. This alone does not mean that the Honda Prologue is not comfortable, but here is what TopSpeed’s William Clavey had to say during his review of the 2025 Honda Prologue:
Rear leg and headroom are also massive thanks to the Prologue’s long wheelbase and boxy shape… Very much like the ZDX, it appears Honda has prioritized passenger space over cargo capacity. Again, the differences here are marginal, allowing the Prologue to remain rather practical and spacious back there. But when observing the data closer, we realize that the Prologue actually has less cargo space when the seats are both in place and lowered flat than in both the Equinox and Blazer EV — TopSpeed

2026 Honda Pilot
MSRP: $42,195
Honda’s largest SUV model and its only true full-sized SUV is the 2026 Honda Pilot. This three-row Honda SUV offers flexible seating arrangements for up to eight passengers.
The Honda Pilot is built for exceptional interior capacity, and it easily accommodates a variety of situations. TopSpeed’s Nicole Wakelin had the chance to drive the 2026 Honda Pilot, and these were her thoughts about the interior:
The interior is tastefully adorned in high-quality materials that look and feel upscale. It’s not fancy, but it is welcoming and attractive, which is what you want in a car that’s designed for families. Kids come with messes, and having a car that is easily stained or marred is a chore… The Pilot has materials that don’t look too fragile or delicate for kids, but still are nice enough to make adults feel comfortable. The front seats are very roomy and supportive, with a second row that easily accommodates three adults. Even tall or broad-shouldered passengers will find it easy to get comfortable — Nicole Wakelin, TopSpeed
