We can all agree that if you’re looking for a luxury touring motorcycle, a Harley-Davidson needs to be part of the conversation. Harleys have always been among the most premium of tourers, and they’ve had prices to match. But last year, The Motor Co. had a year so bad that the only company that was worse off was the nearly bankrupt KTM.
2026 promises to be a much better year for Milwaukee, with a slew of price corrections from mid-2025 joined with some delectable additions to its touring line of motorcycles. One of them is a new model, a full-dress tourer with a bigger, better engine and features that will make the competition go green with envy. Here is the Harley touring bike that defines American luxury on two wheels.
The Harley-Davidson CVO Street Glide Limited Is The Harley Touring Bike That Defines American Luxury On Two Wheels
Harley’s touring lineup has got a few cuts and a few additions. One of the crown jewels has to be the CVO Street Glide Limited. It is a full-dress CVO tourer, something that has been missing from the lineup recently, with all the CVOs being baggers. As the name suggests, it is both a CVO and a Limited model. That means ultimate luxury for a Harley-Davidson. And what is ultimate for H-D is almost by default ultimate for any American brand.
Harley-Davidson CVO Street Glide Limited Price: $51,999
Yes, we know. That’s the kind of price that makes your eyes water just looking at it. It is a stupidly high price, but hey, can you really put a price on luxury? We’re also certain (almost) that you don’t have to put accessories on this one, since it is (here’s that phrase again) both a CVO as well as a Limited Harley. Harley’s recent stance has been to not make limited models, but price them such that they organically become limited run – and the CVO Street Glide Limited seems to follow that same path with its pricing.
The CVO Street Glide Limited Has The 121 VVT Engine
The CVO Street Glide Limited has the latest and greatest from the manufacturer in the powerplant department. That means the Milwaukee-Eight VVT 121 engine with variable valve timing. It has quite a high compression ratio of 11.4:1, which helps produce 115 horsepower at 4,500 RPM and 139 pound-feet of torque at 3,000 RPM. It has a six-speed transmission and a belt drive. All that power is governed by a by-wire throttle and six-axis IMU. So there are ride modes, cruise control, cornering traction control, and cornering drag torque slip control present.
The 5-Year-Old Harley-Davidson CVO You Should Buy Used
This five-year-old Harley-Davidson CVO is a full-dresser with more cornering clearance than the most powerful Harley-Davidson CVO bagger.
Harley-Davidson CVO Street Glide Limited Chassis
The CVO Street Glide Limited has a chassis familiar to fans of the H-D touring lineup. There are a few changes, though, that give it CVO status. Beefy 48 mm inverted forks are present at the front, and the rear shocks have adjustable emulsion tech. There is remote preload adjustment on the left rear shock and threaded preload on the right one. The brakes at the front have dual floating rotors and Brembo(!) radial four-piston fixed calipers, with an axial caliper for the rear single disc. It uses a 19/18-inch alloy wheel combination front to rear with tubeless tires from Dunlop.
Harley-Davidson CVO Street Glide Limited Dimensions
This is a long motorcycle, with a length of over 103 inches and a 64-inch wheelbase. There is decent ground clearance of 5.5 inches with a laden seat height of 26.4 inches. It weighs 919 pounds in running order and has a 6-gallon fuel tank. Since this is a full-dress tourer, we’ll need to add the luggage space as well: a total of 4.8 cubic feet is available on the CVO Street Glide Limited.
Harley-Davidson CVO Street Glide Limited Features
The CVO Street Glide Limited has all the necessary features as standard. Front and center is the 12.3-inch TFT touchscreen with Skyline OS. The windshield is taller than usual for better highway running. Highway footpegs are also available as standard, as is a heel-type gearshifter. The rider comfort is rounded out with a removable rider backrest, plus heated seats. The Grand Tour-Pak with flush lighting and integrated speaker pods also serves as a backrest for the pillion, and the saddlebags have electronic locks.
There are very few options available – the standard one is a mix of blue, black, and chrome, with lovely blue details on the engine as well. There is another combination of orange, grey, and blacked-out metal that is available for an extra $4,500. Accessories include passenger armrests, a Screamin’ Eagle titanium muffler, a Vortex air cleaner, three different speaker upgrades for the audio system, and saddlebag guardrails.

Harley-Davidson CVO Street Glide Limited Competition
There are very few competitors at this price. The 50th Anniversary Honda Gold Wing Tour DCT with airbag does come to mind, but if you’re looking at a Harley CVO tourer, you’re looking for something American. The only other comparable tourer is then the Indian Roadmaster Elite, which is a limited-run full-dress tourer with some great details itself. It is a little more traditional, with a wholly air-cooled Thunderstroke 116 engine, but it is quite modern, with features like a by-wire throttle and rear cylinder deactivation.
The paint has hand-painted gold stripes, it has an adaptive LED headlight, the audio system’s speakers have white underglow lighting, and it has connected features as well. It has a smaller 7-inch TFT display, but the bike’s traditional instruments, like the speedo and tacho, are analog. There are two analog tank-mounted gauges and physical buttons under the TFT screen. It is a worthy contender to the CVO Street Glide Limited at its asking price, which is a full 20 percent lower.
