Harley-Davidson is looking to put what was a pretty poor year for the esteemed company in the rearview mirror. After all, 2025 saw sales decline by 15.9 percent. Out of all the major manufacturers, only KTM had a worse year – largely thanks to a self-inflicted crisis. By getting out of the gates early in 2026, Harley is clearly looking to win back customer confidence.
Towards the end of last year, Harley released the first chapter of the 2026 reveal video, which focused on all the carry-over models. The second chapter of the 2026 story is out, and we can now see the full picture. For the most part, the touring lineup has gone under the knife (like the Softails did last year), and we now get more full-dresser bikes than ever before.

Harley-Davidson Gives The Touring Class Variable Valve Timing
Power: 105 – 106 Horsepower
The one update that applies to all the new touring class motorcycles pertains to the Milwaukee-Eight 117 engine. In previous years, only the 121 CVO models got variable valve timing, but now all the 117-equipped bikes will have it. While this may not yield any significant power gains, it will smooth out the power delivery through the rev range and will also theoretically improve fuel consumption. This adds a level of sophistication that the 117 was lacking in the past, and is a change that may not be seen, but will most certainly be felt once you hop on and take one of these bikes for a test ride.

The Harley-Davidson Road Glide 3 And Street Glide 3 Limited Get Sizable Updates
Enthusiasts don’t often give Trikes the time of day, and as a result, Harley doesn’t usually pay quite as much attention to the lineup. This year, that all changed, with all the Trikes getting a completely new rear end. A fascia to match the updated Grand American Touring bikes sweetens the pot. It is the most significant update we have seen in this underserved space for several years. Harley is already one of the few brands that offer three-wheelers, and although it is a niche market, we are glad to see the trikes get a much-needed update.
Revised Suspension Allows For Improved Ground Clearance
The new De Dion rear axle allows for more wheel travel, something all the trike models lacked in the past. Previous models only offered a paltry 2.3 inches of travel compared to the new three-wheelers that now offer 5 inches of travel. This is a big difference and will most certainly improve the level of adjustability and comfort. Further than this, the rear end also has a different design from the outside, and the rest of the bike has been refreshed to align with the other new touring models.
Pricing has always been a bit of a sticky point for Trike models, and it is one of the reasons why these motorcycles occupy a niche space in the broader market. The all-new Road Glide 3 (pictured above) has a starting MSRP of $36,799, which is a lot of money. The Street Glide 3 Limited is even more expensive, with a starting MSRP of $39,199.

Although Harley frames these bikes as “all-new,” the only bike of the three that is really new is the Road Glide Limited. It adds a Grand Tour-Pak top box, lower fairings with integrated LED lighting, new heated seats, and a taller windshield to the already impressive standard Road Glide model. You also get a wide selection of new colors to choose from, and pricing starts at $32,999.

The Street Glide Limited, on the other hand, is essentially the Street Glide Ultra with a new name and a new paint job. It also benefits from an updated seat design and the same Grand Tour-pak top box. Pricing for the Street Glide Limited also starts at $32,999, so choosing between these two will essentially boil down to which kind of fairing you prefer.
Harley-Davidson Pan America 1250 Limited
The CVO Pan America is effectively being replaced by the new Pan America 1250 Limited. The changes are largely cosmetic, with the obvious omission of a few nice-to-have features you would find on the CVO model. The big news is actually the price. The 2025 CVO’s price has been reduced to under $30k, and the new Limited will sell for $26,499.

Harley-Davidson CVO Street Glide ST
Most of the CVO models only get a few minor cosmetic tweaks and new paint, except for the CVO Street Glide ST. It gets the same high-output Milwaukee-Eight 121 engine that has 127 horsepower. Like all the CVO models, it has a striking paint job and promises to bring enthusiasts one step closer to the “King of the Baggers” race series. Pricing starts at $44,999.
Harley Still Lacks A Genuine Entry-Level Option
As much as all these new and updated models are fantastic, there is still one glaring omission. Deep inside, we had hoped that Harley-Davidson would spring a surprise by launching an entry-level bike, but those hopes have been dashed for at least another year. Some might point to the Nightster, but that is still a pretty powerful bike and not something that can ever really be considered new-rider friendly.
You would still realistically need to start with a bike from another brand, then step up to the Nightster. Others might point to the Livewire S2 Del Mar, but that is still an expensive bike with an MSRP of $12k. If Harley is serious about appealing to new riders, an affordable entry-level option is needed. Luckily, all signs point toward to a new ‘Sprint’ in 2026.
