The Cadillac Lyriq has been repositioned to slot more neatly between its electric SUV stablemates, the Optiq and Vistiq, which are due to arrive in Australia imminently.
Until June 30, 2026, the Lyriq is now priced at $95,000 drive-away in both Luxury and Sport trim.
The price before on-road costs is $90,000, which keeps it under the Luxury Car Tax (LCT) threshold for fuel-efficient vehicles and therefore ensures it’s eligible for Fringe Benefits Tax (FBT) exemptions.

That slots the Lyriq between the upcoming Optiq, which will be offered in a single Sport trim priced at $80,000 before on-road costs, and the upcoming Vistiq, priced at $116,000 before on-roads in Platinum trim.
After announcing a price tag of $117,000 before on-roads for the Lyriq in 2024, Cadillac Australia subsequently bumped pricing up to $122,000 before on-roads in 2025.
The brand then introduced a finance offer with a 1.99 per cent per annum comparison rate over a term of up to 48 months, while also offering Lyriqs with the combined value of on-road costs and Luxury Car Tax (LCT) taken off the drive-away price. This resulted in drive-away prices of between $114,935 and $116,473.
Later in 2025, Cadillac announced an offer that slashed the list price to $91,300 before on-roads, resulting in drive-away pricing of between $94,708 and $98,693, depending on the state and territory.
Technically, the Lyriq found in Cadillac’s one showroom (thus far) in Australia is a model year 2025 (MY25) vehicle, though in December 2025 the brand added Cadillac Connected Services. This is available via an eight-year complimentary subscription.
Customers who had already taken delivery can receive this via a free update.
Cadillac backs the Lyriq with a five-year, unlimited-kilometre vehicle warranty, an eight-year, 160,000km battery warranty, and five years of complimentary scheduled servicing and roadside assistance.
It’s also offered with one year of complimentary public charging. You can either choose to bump this up to three years of free public charging, or opt for a free 7kW Autel MaxiCharger AC Lite home charging unit.
Installation in your home will be performed by JET Charge for free, unless the infrastructure in your home doesn’t meet the criteria, at which point you’ll be required to pay any additional costs. Apartment installations are excluded from this offer.
Cadillac confirmed last month it’s “actively seeking new dealer partners”, with new locations planned for Melbourne and Brisbane – suggesting not only an expansion of its limited retail network, but a move away from exclusively selling vehicles via company-owned locations.
It says it will share more details about its rollout plans “in the coming months”, with first local Optiq and Vistiq deliveries also expected to commence during this time.
Cadillac is one of the few auto brands in Australia – GAC, Mahindra and Xpeng being others – that doesn’t report its sales figures.
It’s unclear, then, just how many Lyriqs have reached Australian customers since local deliveries commenced early in 2025.
