The Toyota Corolla Cross small SUV received an update for 2026, bringing a modest price increase but various spec changes plus a more distinctive GR Sport variant.
The entire refreshed 2026 Corolla Cross lineup arrived in showrooms before the end of 2025, with price increases of $950 across the board. The range now opens at $37,440 before on-road costs for the base front-wheel drive GX.
While prices are up, there’s more standard equipment than before.

All variants received HF01234YF refrigerant for their air-conditioning systems and an Acoustic Vehicle Alerting System (AVAS) to alert passersby to the hybrid SUV’s presence.
The front and rear Parking Support Brake function, which applies the brakes if it detects an object or vehicle and which was previously exclusive to the Atmos, has been rolled out to the GX and GXL.
The GXL was the biggest beneficiary of the refresh, also picking up rain-sensing wipers, a surround-view camera, a wireless phone charger, and heated front seats.

The Atmos gained ventilated front seats, and also continues to offer a standard power tailgate and heated steering wheel.
None of those three features are offered on the new all-wheel drive GR Sport, which is priced at $50,990 before on-road costs – identical to the Atmos AWD – but it compensates with a unique suspension and steering tune and a sportier look inside and out, including unique 19-inch alloy wheels.
All Corolla Cross variants also gained refreshed exterior styling for 2026, including a new grille design.
The small crossover SUV was launched here in 2022, though it first entered production in 2020. It sits between the Yaris Cross and RAV4 in Toyota Australia’s lineup, along with the more distinctively styled C-HR. All four of these SUVs, along with the larger Kluger, are offered in Australia exclusively with hybrid power.
