Hyundai Australia has announced a more affordable entry point into the new Elexio electric SUV range, which will arrive during the second quarter (April to June) of this year.
The 2026 Hyundai Elexio will sit beneath the Elexio Elite in the lineup – which is arriving now – priced from $58,990 before on-road costs, or $3000 less than the more premium launch variant which will rise to $61,990 plus on-roads once the current $59,990 D/A launch offer ends on March 31, 2026.
While still unconfirmed at this stage, Hyundai’s local executives have hinted at the new base Elexio launching with its own drive-away offer, which could become an ongoing nationwide drive-away price.

Powered by the same 160kW front-mounted electric motor and 88k.1Wh lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery pack, the base Elexio claims a slightly longer WLTP driving range (562km v 546km) than the Elite due to its smaller 18-inch alloy wheel package (versus 20-inch).
