Mugen has given the new Honda Prelude a more aggressive look, revealing a range of cosmetic upgrades – plus a mechanical one – for the revived Japanese sports coupe.

The long-time Honda tuner and performance parts manufacturer has released a full list of parts for the new sixth-generation Prelude.

Deliveries will begin in Japan from April 24, 2026.

The list of components includes front and rear under spoilers, a rear spoiler and diffuser trim, and side garnishes, all in carbon-fibre.

Also available is a sports exhaust system which Mugen says is “designed to deliver a powerful, impressive sound and deep bass from low to high rpm” and “a more linear and uplifting sound when used with the Honda S+ Shift”.

As the new Prelude doesn’t have a conventional mechanical transmission, Honda has developed S+ Shift which emulates an eight-speed auto by offering the same “sharp gear shifting feel”.

Mugen offers parts for a wide range of Honda vehicles, from the Fit (aka Jazz) through to the Civic and Civic Type R, the defunct Legend flagship sedan, and even the Vezel (aka HR-V) and Odyssey.

Its upgrades are available in Australia through Nine-W. Local timing and availability for these Prelude parts has yet to be announced.
