In most cases, buying a bike that is over a decade old and has over 50,000 miles on the clock might not be the wisest decision. But touring bikes are cut from a different cloth. They are designed with the very intention of accumulating high mileage and have different tolerances than conventional motorcycles. That said, any bike with both high mileage and no service record is not worth considering.
